Drown It All

She came off like she was all sugar and spice,

but you better look, you better look twice,

her eyes are like daggers, her words turn to ice,

she’s drinks in the poison to handle the night,

she gives it away like she’s lost her heart,

but you better watch, you better watch her work her art,

she can paint you a picture that seems so sublime,

then turn around and erase each and every line,

she came off like she had the world by the ass,

but you better see, you better see her sass,

she’ll make you turn ‘n’ bend her at the hip,

then turn around and give you so much lip,

she’s got a pretty

painted face,

every line in place,

but you better look, you better look at that vase,

her smile’s as full as the shining sun,

but the emptiness is like a loaded gun,

it’ll shimmy and shake you apart,

then shoot you so deep that it breaks your heart,

she came on like she was a speeding train,

you better watch, you better watch as she gains,

her finger can wrap you like you are twine,

but she’ll drown it all

in her sweet red wine…

wine
