Frozen

In her eyes she found a storm,

in her heart she felt a river,

in her touch she was reborn,

in her love there was a shiver,

chaos finally stilled,

fingers felt the fire,

heart was bound and filled,

love, the soul’s desire,

On her lips she held the secret,

on her skin the softest silk,

on her hands the broken pieces,

on her mind, what she would will,

her eyes would flash like lightning,

her body melting with its heat,

her feelings felt that heightening,

her spirit danced on starlit streets,

and she held on for dear life,

and she spoke the sacred vows,

and she cut just like a knife,

into the here and now,

and she whispered to her lover,

as the river met the sea,

there will never be another,

frozen hearts no longer bleed…

hearts and roses
